They had a seven to eight-hour time difference, it was night-time for her and yet it was already dawn for him.
He called at such an hour, it was clear he hadn't slept.
"Your dress is beautiful," Lucas Walker praised over the phone.
Ivana Bennett turned her face, looking at the surveillance camera in the corner of the room, "Don't tell me you've been waiting for me to finish this dress?"
Listening to her slightly reproachful voice, Lucas Walker responded with a smile, "These past few days, I've been trying to finish up my work. When you're on holiday, we'll return King Arthur together to the African Savanna."
Hearing his voice made her heartache.
He was already so busy, yet she was causing him more trouble.
"Lucas Walker, I'm sorry!"
"Don't worry, that issue should be resolved soon," Lucas Walker gazed at Ivana Bennett on the screen, "Ivana, can you put on that dress for me to see?"
Ivana Bennett glanced at the dress hanging on the mannequin.
