"Indeed!" the assistant also exclaimed, "Others would have just cut and run, but he actually offered to accompany you to the hospital for a check-up. I noticed he looked European, but who knew his Croatian was so good…"
While they were talking, the car entered the residential area. Summer Gardner got out of the car and the assistant handed her the lunchbox.
"You guys can head back, I don't need a car for the next couple of days. Take it to the shop for a touch-up. Call me if anything comes up."
"Sure!"
After the assistant and driver left, Summer Gardner moved forward to ring the doorbell.
Ivana Bennett was upstairs focusing on her design drawings. Hearing the doorbell, she rushed downstairs to open the door.
Summer handed Ivana the lunchbox, "So, here's your lunch!"
"Thanks, Mommy!" Ivana took the lunchbox, "How was the cocktail party?"
"Meh, nothing special." Summer followed her into the dining room, noticing the flowers on the table, "Did you buy these?"
