"Alright," said Night Wind as he hung up the phone, "Lucas Walker has left the airport."
"I know," responded Ivana Bennett, staring at the small red dot on the screen and minimizing the map. "Drive forward five hundred meters and then turn left at the fork. We can take a detour from there to avoid running into him on the road."
"How long will that take?" asked Night Wind.
Ivana clicked her mouse and examined the roads. "We'll have to add approximately forty minutes to our trip."
Night Wind glanced at his watch and furrowed his brows. "We don't have that much time."
According to their predetermined schedule, the plane would take off in an hour. If they exited the highway and took the detour, they might not catch their flight in time.
Ivana bit her lip. "Then let's... stay on the highway."
Night Wind cast a sideways glance at her face. He saw clear traces of anxiety and nervousness there.
