"Boss!"
The bodyguards questioned the boss, oblivious of Lucas Walker's identity. They were used to bossing around on the ship, hence didn't pay attention to Lucas Walker who was alone.
The boss just looked towards Ivana Bennett, his gaze filled with confusion.
Ivana Bennett shook her head gently, indicating him not to rashly make a move.
If Lucas Walker, given his standing, reacted in anger and blew things out of proportion, who knew what the situation would escalate into.
Lucas Walker wasn't one to easily step down. If she didn't figure out an escape this time, it would certainly jeopardize the entire investigation plan.
Ivana Bennett peered at the boss over Lucas Walker's shoulder, then turned to the man protecting her standing in front of her.
She sighed inwardly.
It seemed she had to deceive Lucas Walker again.
Upon receiving a signal from Ivana Bennett, the boss held back the eager bodyguards once more.
"Both of you, please cooperate."
