The bodyguards didn't dare disobey. They quickly gathered around, enveloping the two in the center. They were afraid that Ivana Bennett might hurt their boss, but they also dared not get too close.
Ivana didn't even turn her head. Lucas Walker's life was now in her hands. She was very clear that these guys dared not shoot.
"Bring me the keys to the helicopter!" She commanded in English.
While in the restroom, she had observed the direction of the water flow. When flowing into the drain, the water moved in a counterclockwise direction.
Under the influence of Earth's magnetic field, water and wind flow deviate in the northern and southern hemispheres. This indicated that she was still in the northern hemisphere.
The temperature here was still like summer. From various factors, such as the monsoon, she could roughly deduce that...
She was likely still in the Caribbean Sea, but couldn't pinpoint her exact location.
The Caribbean Coastline was home to many island nations and this guy's helicopter was the latest model with a long flight duration. As long as there was enough fuel, she could definitely find dry land and make her escape.
None of the bodyguards moved. They all watched Lucas Walker, awaiting his orders.
Ivana spoke again, "I said - bring me the keys to the helicopter."
Lucas Walker took a deep breath, "Put your knife away now, and I can forgive you."
Ivana was a bit speechless.
Who did this man think he was?!
Her right wrist sank down a bit, applying more pressure.
The dinner knife cut through his skin, and a line of blood immediately spilled from his neck.
"Give me the keys now, and I might spare your life!" She mimicked his tone.
Lucas Walker's brow furrowed.
"My pets only have two outcomes, one, they live well by my side, two, they die!"
In my opinion, you really need a psychiatrist."
Ivana was too exhausted to retort. This man's thinking was unlike anyone else's.
His life was in her hands right now, yet he was still playing it cool!
She was tired of playing games with this madman.
"I'll count to three for the last time. If you don't instruct someone to fetch the keys to the helicopter, then prepare to die! 3..."
"Mr. Earl!" Despite Lucas Walker's calm demeanor, the older butler couldn't bear to watch and finally broke the silence, "Please, give in to her demand!"
"2!"
Ivana continued counting.
"Leave." Lucas Walker ordered.
"Mr. Earl?!"
Both butlers had tightly furrowed brows, as did all of the bodyguards. Their faces were all etched with worry.
If anything happened to him, none of them would be able to survive either.
"Get out!"
Anger tinged Lucas Walker's voice.
All the bodyguards looked questioningly at the older butler. He had been by Lucas Walker's side for many years and among them, his words carried the most weight.
The old butler raised his palm slightly.
Immediately, all of the bodyguards left the room, followed by the younger butler and the assistant.
After glancing at the dinner knife Ivana held against Lucas Walker's neck, the old butler gritted his teeth and left as well.
Even the wide-open doors were closed behind him.
Only Lucas Walker and Ivana Bennett were left on the terrace, along with shattered glass and food strewn all over the ground.
The wind blew in from the sea, gently lifting her slightly curled hair.
Lucas Walker's gaze swept over her neck, which bore fresh, bright marks left by him.
Due to her earlier movements, her large white shirt had slipped off, revealing one shoulder, which still bore traces of him.
