"Give it to me," Flossie Wright extended her hand toward him.
Looking at him, Franklin Cody didn't dally and handed the packed meal to her.
With a trace of a smile curling the corners of her mouth, Flossie Wright shrugged and headed toward the staircase of the Dormitory building.
Actually, male soldiers could enter the female soldiers' dormitory as well, since there were no locks on the outside, and given that everyone was a quality-checked young person, no accidents had ever occurred, and there was basically no supervision.
But Franklin Cody was different from Rowdy Brightwill; Rowdy Brightwill was popular and liked among female soldiers, while wherever Franklin Cody went, female soldiers tended to keep their distance, probably feeling awkward about going upstairs themselves.
He didn't know many female soldiers and wouldn't ask those he wasn't familiar with for help, so he probably waited downstairs for quite a while.
