Unexpectedly, Perry Reed refused decisively, without a hint of consideration.
"I won't go back," Flossie Wright's tone was slightly stiff.
"Then," there was a slight pause, Perry Reed slightly curved his lips, wantonly flashed an evil smile, and declared boldly, "let them perish on their own."
Her eyes flickered, and Flossie Wright suddenly laughed, "As you wish."
At this point, whether Perry Reed agreed or not was irrelevant. She was just informing Perry Reed that if Slaughter really met with that fate, then he could choose to take over Slaughter, since it was no small force.
"Alright," he spoke lethargically, Perry Reed said casually, "let's get back to the main topic, Glenn Hutchinson."
"Promise me, you won't touch Andrew."
"No."
"Then don't expect to talk about Glenn Hutchinson," Flossie Wright said, relaxed.
"Fine."
As a man without principles, Perry Reed quickly changed his stance.
