Early morning, around six o'clock.
Flossie Wright and Jessie Grain had joined the squad less than an hour ago, and as daylight gradually broke, they no longer needed to use their flashlights to see clearly in the mountain forest.
They were both seriously sleep-deprived; they had only slept for two hours the night before and now were relentlessly hiking. Both were somewhat fatigued.
Of course, holding up wasn't a problem.
Four designated Forces members led the way, with two SWAT officers following behind; ever since they had officially joined the squad, no one had spoken to them.
The two of them followed in silence.
"Have you been in actual combat?"
Matching the pace with Jessie Grain, Flossie Wright, finding it rather dull, asked her quietly.
Jessie Grain was slightly startled, then nodded, responding, "Hmm."
Scanning her surroundings, Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow and inquired, "Is it always like this?"
