After placing the larvae, Ella Pemberton gauged Nancy's complexion, glanced at the slightly larger cockroaches and worms in the bag, but did not release them; instead, she moved towards Jessie Grain.
"Are you ready?!"
Crouching beside Jessie Grain, Ella Pemberton stared into her eyes and asked deliberately.
"I'm ready!"
With an unchanging expression, Jessie Grain replied resolutely.
