"What's going on?"
Ella Pemberton was puzzled.
"I don't know," the Soldier shook his head and said, "I only get to see what they're doing when I deliver meals. But with that number three room, every time I bring the food, I only hear her voice. By the time I come back later to collect it, the dishes are already neatly placed."
"..."
Ella Pemberton wore a look of confusion.
It had been three days, and not a single person was seen. Could something have happened?
After a pause, Ella Pemberton came back to her senses and asked, "Did she say anything to you?"
"Yes," the Soldier said with a heavy heart.
"What?"
"She said the food wasn't tasty." The Soldier's face filled with grievance when he mentioned this.
"..." Ella Pemberton choked up for a moment, then continued, "Anything else?"
"She would occasionally request a few dishes."
"..."
Now, Ella Pemberton was completely at a loss for words.
Was this the so-called hearing without seeing?
