However, Flossie Wright didn't utter a word, she just went straight into the mud.
After waiting for two cycles for them to come, Ella Pemberton finally heard the sound of a vehicle approaching.
"Captain Pemberton!"
From a distance, she heard someone calling out.
Ella Pemberton followed the sound and saw a water tanker coming down the small road.
A soldier was waving at her from the passenger seat.
With a smile, Ella Pemberton waved back.
In less than two minutes, the water tanker stopped by the mud.
"Using harsh methods?"
The male soldier driving stuck his head out of the window and asked, while not hiding the sympathy that showed on his face.
"Yes," Ella Pemberton nodded and walked over.
In just that short time, the soldier who waved earlier had already brought over the hose and enthusiastically handed it to Ella Pemberton.
"Thanks for the trouble." Ella Pemberton thanked them as she took the hose.
"No need, no need, happy to help you guys," the soldier hurriedly said.
