He wasn't worried that she would sacrifice herself, but that she wouldn't.
Yet, if it were any other issue, Flossie could have played along with his words, but on this matter, she couldn't pretend to love the country that much.

She looked at him calmly and responded affirmatively.
Regan Wright stood rooted to the spot.
Suddenly, the air in the Study Room seemed to freeze, and a tense atmosphere spread rapidly.
Flossie Wright, standing there composed, sensed a wave of intense anger slashing towards her.
Taking a deep breath, Regan Wright struggled to calm himself down, but his low growl was still laced with fury, "Then why did you choose to become a Frogman?!"
"I wanted to." Flossie's voice was steady.
"For what?"
"Honor."
"Yours?" Regan Wright furrowed his brows tightly.
"Close enough."
Flossie's tone was very light, so light it was almost without ripples.
She had chosen to become a Frogman indeed for honor.
