"Flossie, what are you doing here?"
As she went to checkout, she suddenly saw a familiar figure approaching.
Flossie Wright looked up.
She saw the figures of Stuart Weston and Calvin Ramos.
One in front of the other.
Each of them was carrying two cases of water with ease, not even frowning.
However, compared to Stuart's enthusiasm, Calvin's attitude was much colder.
"Shopping."
Raising her eyebrows slightly, Flossie tossed the playing cards in her hand.
"Playing cards?"
"Yeah." Nodding her head, Flossie then asked, "What are you guys doing...?"
"Oh, we came to carry water."
Stuart explained.
To carry meant, they didn't need to pay for it.
"Hard work."
Flossie said so as a formality.
Stuart laughed, "I'll go account for this first."
After saying so, carrying two cases of water, he went straight to the counter.
Flossie paused for a moment and looked over at Calvin, who had stopped to the side.
He was also sizing her up.
