"Yes." Flossie replied reflexively, then paused and curiously asked, "Why?"
"Mariana's birthday is coming up." Sandy stated bluntly.
"Planning to give it to her as a birthday present?"
Flossie tilted her head, guessing the intention.
"Mhm."
Sandy nodded.
He wasn't holding out hope that they would necessarily agree on the matter, but since Mariana had brought it up, there was no harm in asking Flossie.
"Who told you?"
Flossie asked with interest.

Sandy gave her a look.
Soon, Flossie deduced and inquired, "Mariana?"
