Flossie Wright had never expected to still be in the running.
It increasingly agitated her nerves.
Soon, Nathan Foster came over, carrying several bundles of rope and asked them, "What are you all doing idly?"
"Instructor Foster, when is the last batch coming over?"
The petite nurse stood up, her voice clear as she asked.
Theoretically, there should be less than five minutes between each group, but it had been almost ten minutes since the previous group had left.
"Oh," he said, dropping the ropes to the ground and turning to her, explaining, "Just now, a student reported that some of the climbing ropes here are too worn and could easily cause accidents. They'll come over after I've checked everything."
"I see," nodded the nurse.
Meanwhile, Mia Lawson put her phone away, her eyes shifting slightly as she asked amiably, "Do you need help?"
