Suddenly opening her eyes, Flossie Wright stood up straight away, her voice crisp as she shouted.
In the throng of cadets, she stood upright, prominently in the light. Her damp hair had dried, hanging somewhat messily, and those bright, dark eyes were as clear and sharp as ever, showing not even a hint of sleepiness.
"..." Austin Shepherd was taken aback for a moment but then cleared his throat lightly, regaining his stern facade, and said, "Repeat what I've just said."

Flossie had anticipated being asked a question, not expecting such a move. She was momentarily stunned but soon smiled and asked, "Where do I begin?"
Her cool voice, unique in timbre, was very pleasant to hear.
Similarly, Flossie seemed very calm as if she wasn't flustered at all, as though she had taken in all of his lecture, full of confidence.
She hadn't even glanced at the notebook that Becca Reyes surreptitiously slid towards her.
