"I'm not blind."
With her arms crossed over her chest, Flossie Wright glanced sideways at him with a slight sneer.
Glenn Hutchinson was quite tall.
Approaching 1.7 meters, Flossie was tall among women, allowing her to frequently notice men shorter than herself as she walked in the southern regions.
However, standing beside Glenn Hutchinson, her height advantage vanished without a trace, his near head-taller stature, just by standing straight beside her, was an invisible pressure.
"You're not blind, I am."
Glenn Hutchinson calmly picked up the conversation.
"..."
Looking at him coolly, Flossie was almost amused by his audacity.
"Comrade Flossie Wright."
He called out in a deep voice, now with a seriousness and formality unlike before.
Flossie slightly furrowed her brows and let her arms fall to her sides.
It wasn't the stance of standing at attention, but it lacked a bit of her usual casual slouch.
