The waitress hesitated before nodding.
Yet, she lingered and didn't leave.
Just as Flossie Wright was about to eat her noodles, she noticed the person standing next to her. She couldn't help but arch her eyebrows and glance at them.
"They'll be alright," reassured the waitress, her cheeks slightly flushed. Pointing at Flossie's phone screen, her eyes flickered with excitement, "Our country's soldiers, they're very capable."
"Oh?"
Raising her eyebrows, Flossie seemed somewhat surprised.
Seeing the disbelief on Flossie's face, the waitress lowered her voice a few notches, emphasising, "Really."
"Okay."
This time, Flossie nodded.
After a moment of hesitation, the waitress took another look at Flossie and then finally left.
Tapping on her phone sitting next to her, Flossie exited the browser and began eating her noodles.
The taste was quite good.
