You're all in the city, right? Before nine tomorrow, raise a thousand dollars and meet at Dovert Amusement Park.
A terse message with minimal information.
It only mentioned the mission's goal, without revealing the contact person, nor specifying how they should meet.
That left them quite baffled.
Flossie Wright glanced at it and put down her phone.
Continued drinking her coffee.
Meanwhile, Jocelyn Carrington, standing outside, had just finished reading the same message. She wanted to see Flossie's reaction, but to her chagrin, Flossie was as relaxed as ever.
Annoyed without reason, Jocelyn's eyes flashed with anger. She tightened her grip on her phone and headed towards the coffee house entrance.
She walked in, ignored the watchful waiter, and sat down in front of Flossie.
"Bang."
The phone was slammed vigorously on the table, making a loud noise.
Those around them glanced over out of curiosity, quickly retreated their gazes as if nothing had happened.
