The new recruits under scrutiny have no chance to speak.
Because, it is they who are making the selections. The initiative is with them.
The new recruits have only the right to agree or disagree with their selection.
"Everybody should listen closely," Nathan Foster shouted into the speaker facing the remaining new recruits, "From today onwards, you have no excuses to make any mistakes. Because you could potentially be responsible for people's lives at any moment! The training to follow will be much harder than before. If you cannot endure it, you can leave at any time!"
Taking a short break, Nathan Foster glared, "Did everyone hear me clearly?!"
"We heard it!"
They all replied in unison.
"Yesterday was tumultuous and now all of you are cowered," Nathan Foster was irritable, "All of you shout louder, did you hear me clearly?!"
"We heard it!"
A roar shattered the air, deafening everyone.
