The flashlight made a round in his hand, and was then abruptly turned on, aimed at them, instantly forcing both women to close their eyes.
"Oh, it's you two."
Recognizing who they were, Rowdy Brightwill quickly put away his flashlight.
Stung by the brightness of the flashlight, Belinda Nichols instinctively shut her eyes. And yet, the word "both" in the opponent's sentence prompted her to squint her eyes slightly, in an attempt to see what he really looked like.
However, her vision was blurry and she couldn't see clearly.
"Are you a hostage?"
Flossie Wright took a few steps forward, swept a glance at Rowdy Brightwill, who was looking rather calm and relaxed, and then cast a second glance at the two extremely wronged "kidnappers" who were tied up.
This reversal of roles was just too comical.
"Yes," Rowdy Brightwill replied naturally, nodding with a bright smile on his handsome face, "Am I doing a good job as a hostage?"
