"You'd adjust." Glenn Hutchinson spoke calmly, as if he had fully considered all her concerns already, "You can make another decision in two years."
"Why should I give up a comfortable life in the cooking class?"
Flossie Wright's tone was calm, as though she were casually chatting with him.
"Because that's not what you want."
Glenn Hutchinson's gaze became serious, as if he were trying to peer into her heart.
His answer was certain, without a hint of probing.
While life in the cooking class might be comfortable, it certainly wasn't the life that Flossie Wright desired.
If she chose to stay in the cooking class, once the new trainees finished their training, she'd return to her old life in the cooking class. Cooking and washing vegetables would be dull and absolutely not something Flossie liked.
He was just telling her that if she chose a different path, she would encounter more.
