"Flossie Wright, if you dare to be our dead weight, you're dead!"
Becca Reyes' voice sounded full of vigor, her words seemed like a warning, but they didn't carry any such intent. If anything, her expression was quite gentle, even showing a hint of joy.
Looking inexplicably at the few who stepped up to her, Flossie knit her brows slightly, sensing an ominous premonition, "What's going on?"
Since seeing Austin Shepherd yesterday, Becca had kept a cold front with her all night. Flossie hadn't seen Becca that morning, but she was quite sure that Becca wouldn't have such a change of heart overnight.
Something must have happened during the morning's training.
Somehow, Flossie had a rough guess about it.
"You're assigned to our team," Becca spread out her hands, concealing the emotions she had shown earlier. After a brief pause, she explained straightforwardly, "From today on, for the next month or so, you need to move forward or back with us."
