"I'm going to visit your father."
With a casual tone, as if it was a spontaneous decision, Glenn Hutchinson had already gotten out of the car as soon as he finished speaking.
Flossie Wright paused her movement, her gaze following Hutchinson's figure. She saw him approach steadily. Against the gloomy and desolate background, he stopped by her side of the car and very gentlemanly helped her open the car door.
The cold wind greeted her face. Her exposed skin felt chilly. Flossie lifted her hand to put her removed scarf back on and walked straight out of the car. Just as she landed, she approached Glenn, squinting at the man in front of her, "What are you up to?"
The two of them were very close, Glenn Hutchinson casually wrapped his arm around her waist, raising an eyebrow, "Taking the blame for you."
"..."
Giving him a glance, Flossie, already used to his random nonsense, calmly accepted his "excuse".
