The little boy seemed to have predicted their behavior, immediately turning his head to look at Flossie Wright, who was standing outside the door.
Flossie, standing outside with her arms crossed, couldn't help but laugh when she saw his expression. She was dragged here to play the role of his parent.
A few shop assistants followed the little boy's gaze and noticed Flossie. They shared a glance, murmuring to themselves about such a peculiar parent, but greeted her with smiles. The enthusiastic assistants replaced the boy's watch and even gave him lots of snacks. The boy only picked up a lollipop from the heap of snacks.
Even though the little boy kept a cool face the entire time, he politely said goodbye to the shop assistants before leaving. Then, clutching his new watch, he walked closely behind Flossie.
"Is there something else?"
Flossie walked a few steps, wrinkling her brows at the sight of him keeping in step with her, she asked somewhat incredulously.
