Subconsciously hearing the approaching rumbling sound, Flossie Wright, without any hesitation, took a deep breath and propelled herself quickly into the sea without even pausing to assess the situation.
Waves as high as mountains crashed down on her, obliterating the raindrops and scattering them into oblivion. The powerful roars belonged to the raging sea. As Flossie Wright descended to about thirty feet, the monstrous waves struck the surface viciously, causing unexpected splashes and waves to manifest an unimaginable destructive force.
Flossie hadn't quite dived deep enough and was unexpectedly impacted by the encroaching waves. She was instantly swept away to a great distance. Fortunately, she kept her breath steady from beginning to end. When she felt the turbulent waters calming somewhat, she realized her diving light above her head had been swept away to who knows where.
