"Why didn't you die?!"
Aunt Lee desperately pushed Janice Wood, driving her back several steps towards the sea. She cried out loudly, her voice filled with sorrow and hoarseness, as if she wanted to vent all her emotions.
This action was somewhat sudden, and the surrounding people hadn't reacted yet, watching her go crazy, pushing an expressionless Janice backwards into the incoming waves, which swamped them up to their waists.
But, Aunt Lee's rage hadn't ended. Seemingly tired, she let go of Janice's collar, but in the next moment raised her hand to slap her across the face.
"Smack——"
The loud noise, amid the sea and rain sounds, came across as particularly harsh and jarring.
Janice's face was forcefully turned aside, her pale cheeks immediately turned red with the imprint of a slap. However, Janice didn't even furrow her brows, as if all her emotions had been drained, unresponsive to the outside world.
