"Do you want anything else to eat?" asked Rowdy Brightwill, having made almost every variety he could think of.
He stared intensely at Flossie Wright, feeling somewhat anxious, as though any minute change in her expression was worth noting.
"No."
Flossie gave a natural response without even looking at him. Her reaction seemed casual, but before she realized it, there was something odd happening to her. Instinctively, she turned her head to find Rowdy sitting upright, no longer looking at her.
Feeling somewhat baffled, Flossie didn't dwell on it too much and continued to work on the large pile of food in front of her.
Although, given her appetite, she couldn't finish it all.
During the Bonfire Party, Flossie, who had just polished off most of the barbecue, made her excuses to Rowdy and headed straight back to the cooking class.
