With Flossie Wright's help and revisions, Becca Reyes' self-criticism barely passed. Reading it out loud in front of everyone was an even bigger struggle. Every word she read turned her face a shade darker, exasperated at the length of the critique, not realizing that Flossie, who had finished hers first, had simply skipped over parts whilst reading.
"Becca Reyes, why is your attitude not sincere at all?!"
Neal Thompson slapped the table and stood up from the stone stool he was sitting on after listening to Becca Reyes read several paragraphs, angrily shouting at her.
Having just listened to Flossie Wright recite her criticism with the same tone as a news broadcaster, Neal Thompson was already unhappy. But considering Flossie's contribution to rescuing Mia Lawson, he decided not to pursue it further.
However, Neal Thompson found Becca Reyes even less sincere than Flossie. As he owed her nothing, he could not stand it any longer!
