"Get lost," The squad leader, Lin, motioned with a wave of his hand, then brutally addressed Flossie Wright, "You'd better teach her properly!"
Upon hearing the squad leader's unusual notions, Flossie's eyes twinkled with amusement, nodding without resistance, "I promise to do it."
Honestly, Flossie quite liked this squad leader. Even though the squad leader's position wasn't all that high, there was always a bit of authority where one could flaunt, especially in the Forces, where there's a particular penchant for the official talk. However, Lin was the opposite, he could point out the harsh truths in a straightforward fashion. Things were as they seemed, but he would still maintain formalities when the situation called for it, not imposing ideological restraints on anyone - making him a rare individual.
But, with his personality, it seems he could only be the squad leader of the cooking class.
Flossie understood well, that's just how society was.
