"How long do you plan on running?"
After about four or five laps, Becca Reyes moved closer to Flossie Wright and asked unexpectedly.
Actually, the two of them did not plan this beforehand. Just last night, Becca decided she wanted to improve her physical fitness. To her surprise, she woke up this morning to find Flossie already dressed up and ready to go out. Unsure whether she was excited or shocked, Becca immediately joined Flossie for a jog.
However, while jogging can indeed improve physical fitness, it does not enhance other abilities. Otherwise, the other soldiers would only need to run every day, and there would be no need for other types of training. Therefore, no matter how much they improve their fitness, they can't compare with the new recruits who came with them.
