"Smack!"
Flossie Wright, standing opposite to her, watched in disbelief as the dirty cloth, which had just wiped the table, flew straight towards the face of the recently-arrived female soldier.
Just as she walked in the door, Neal Thompson hardened instantly as she felt the damp, stinky dishcloth hit her face. It felt as though she had been robbed of her breath, and even a bout of shivers didn't help to ease her. Her scalp started to tingle.
Dreadful!
Becca Reyes turned her head back to see all this happening, her eyes filling with surprise and confusion, and her heart lamenting without warning.
With all the places she could have gone, why did she walk straight into her dishcloth?
"Who did this?!"
All of a sudden, a shrill voice erupted. Neal Thompson violently tore the cloth from her face and angrily threw it aside. She glared with burning rage at Flossie Wright and Becca Reyes, their presence incensing her to the point of wishing to skin them alive.
