After taking a few glimpses at Jocelyn Carrington's hasty departure, Flossie Wright started to focus on this final checkpoint. It was supposed to test shooting skills. Instead, one could also choose tree climbing. However, this heavy downpour would make it hard for average people to aim their guns, let alone at fluctuating targets.
She could do it, but....
As she mulled over her decision, she suddenly noticed a female soldier casting a gaze at her, which caused her to instinctively look back.
Although the female soldier seemed a bit reluctant to make eye contact, she still managed to muster a friendly smile. "If you don't want to climb the tree, I can help you get it," she offered.
"No need." Flossie glanced at her gun, but she put it away naturally and gave the soldier some advice, "Just abandon it if you can't climb up."
Heaven's rain was pouring. Without the right skills, one could easily have an accident in the tree.
