So, Perry Reed, supporting Flossie Wright with one hand and holding an umbrella with the other, escorted her to the front of the small tent. He repeatedly urged her to get a good night's sleep before leaving.
She entered the tent.
Feeling around, Flossie Wright found a flashlight, turned it on, and immediately saw a sleeping bag laid out inside.
The tent was very ordinary, the space was small, but many little things were scattered around inside.
There was an insulated water bottle with hot water still inside, a hot water bag in the sleeping bag that hadn't cooled down yet, warming the whole sleeping bag. Next to the sleeping bag, there was a military-green army coat, a pack of army-exclusive chocolate, several packs of snacks, and some assorted food items.
It was all very simple, yet incredibly thoughtful.
Flossie Wright wanted to laugh, but for some reason, she couldn't.
