Hesitating for a brief moment, Stuart Weston suddenly seemed to release a held breath, taking a few quiet steps closer to Calvin Ramos, stuttering, "Bro, I've got something to say…"
"You want to pursue her?"
Calvin Ramos, glancing down at him, casually raises an eyebrow, and in a blink of an eye, pins down exactly what Stuart had been feeling.
"You knew?"
Stuart was taken aback but it was clear that his secret was accurately identified by Calvin.
"Hmm."
Calvin responds, though he declines to add anything more.
Since serving in the same military division, Calvin had been with Stuart and over time, had come to understand an assortment of Stuart's characteristics.
Although Stuart could be irksome at times, he definitely exhibited more respect in Becca Reyes's presence. Furthermore, Stuart was quite savvy and adept at reading other's thoughts. At the very least, he was well-liked among the male soldiers.
