She stole a glance at Glenn Hutchinson, who was still in the kitchen. Before Kirana Williams had a chance to react, Flossie Wright promptly stood up and went over to take out the cell phone. She was about to hand the cell phone to Glenn when she saw a flickering note on the screen. Unhesitatingly, she pulled the call through.
"What's the matter?"
Before the person on the other end of the phone could speak, Flossie Wright calmly asked, effectively silencing the disgruntled voice on the other end.
It took Rowdy Brightwill a while to calm down and collect his thoughts. Still annoyed, he asked, "Why are you using his phone?!"
Rowdy Brightwill had tried to contact Flossie Wright but her phone was always busy. So, he had decided to call Glen, but to his surprise, it was Flossie who answered the call.
