Raindrops, as large as beans, sprinkled down from the gray sky, lashing on faces, necks, and clothes, feeling piercingly cold. However, compared to the adjacent waves, even the most severe storm seemed insignificant.
On the beach, once quiet, clusters of people gathered. Each person, dressed in camouflage uniforms, stood tall and rigid. Their expressions were stern and tense. As the rain barraged them, not a single person retreated. Instead, they yearned to get closer, even if just slightly.
As their comrades risked their lives in the sea, knowing full well they could be swallowed by the waves at any moment, no matter how acquainted they were, or whether they had differences, at this moment, they were all the same - comrades!
