Even if he couldn't cook, it didn't affect anything.
For a man like him, who usually had little time to spend in the kitchen, there was no need to get his hands dirty. A casual order from him was enough to have people willing to serve him, so why bother being so serious about it.
Sofia Hamilton wondered if she had somehow discouraged him, "Forget about it, there's no need to cook."
"I think it's very necessary!" A shallow smile spread across his lips as he gazed at her intently, "No matter how many times it takes, for you, I'm willing to try."
He was willing to put in the effort for her, not wanting her to feel disappointed or regretful.
Sofia met his gaze, the sincere emotions clearly written in his deep, dark eyes, stirring surprise and happiness within her.
He was doing it for her?
Somehow, she felt a small wave of emotion.
The corners of Sofia's mouth lifted slightly, "But..."
"Wait here."
He interrupted her, standing up to walk back into the kitchen.
