Had she misunderstood him?
Sofia Hamilton felt somewhat embarrassed, scratching the red spots on her arm only to discover they were slowly getting redder and swelling. How could this be?
The more she scratched, the itchier it got, and she felt uncomfortable all over.
Rushing to grab some clean clothes, she took a shower, but upon coming out she didn't feel any better. Instead, the itch had spread to her back. Ryan Gregory had seemingly vanished; it had been half an hour, and he still hadn't come upstairs.
Wasn't he supposed to be getting her medicine?
Or had he forgotten all about her?
While she puzzled over this, Ryan hurried back, a pharmacy bag in hand. He pulled out ointment and antiallergic medicine, "Here, take the medicine first."
He took out the pills, placed them in his palm, and then poured her some water.
"Take the medicine, open your mouth."
