Chapter Five
Lydia Mitchell pushed open the office door and strode in with an imposing air.
The secretary looked at Ryan Gregory with unease, "Mr. Gregory, I couldn't stop her..."
"Go out."
Ryan Gregory said, and the secretary finally breathed a sigh of relief, hastily slipping out. Ever since Mr. Gregory returned these past few days, his foul mood had led to massive layoffs. If they lost their job over a small mistake, that would be bad.
Lydia Mitchell sat on the sofa, pointed to the seat opposite her, and said sternly, "Ryan Gregory, sit over there. I have something to ask you."
Ryan Gregory felt helpless. Was she really addressing him by his full name?
He sat down, looked at his mother helplessly, and said, "Mom, what is it this time...?"
"I'm asking you when you plan to bring my grandson back for me to see?"
Ryan Gregory feigned ignorance, "What grandson?"
He didn't want anyone to disturb Wilson and Lena before he could settle all his affairs.
