She regarded him with suspicion, but Ryan Gregory flashed a wide smile and took a step closer to her, lowering his voice, "Don't worry, my preference is definitely you, physically and mentally healthy, welcome to check anytime."
His gaze was piercing, yet his tone carried an unmistakable playfulness.
Sofia Hamilton's cheeks were thin, and she blushed slightly, scolding him, "Dream on."
With that said, she turned and walked towards the competition area. Ryan Gregory watched her indignantly reddening face, the smile on his lips deepening.
He wished they could continue to get along well...
There were some things that really shouldn't be mentioned.
Like the events of last night. Let them fade with time, he thought. He didn't mind her angry words, just hoped that in the days to come, he'd have more opportunities to make it up to her.
