"Let her go!"
Ryan Gregory's voice rose from behind, tinged with fury.
Before Sofia Hamilton could react, Ryan had stepped forward, shoved Arthur Baker away, and pulled Sofia behind him, staring at Arthur icily with anger on his face.
The sight of Ryan ignited a rage within Arthur that had been smoldering deep inside.
"It's you again!"
"Arthur, make it clear to yourself, the person she has chosen now is me! If I see you treating her like this again, I won't mind crippling your hands!" Ryan warned through clenched teeth.
His stern face was now shrouded with intense hostility, and each word carried a ruthless tone as if he meant every word he said!
But Arthur didn't take it seriously, his lips curled into a mocking smile, "Ryan Gregory, do you really think Sofia would come back to you if you hadn't used some trick? Did you threaten her again?"
He then looked toward Sofia, "Tell me, did he threaten you?"
Threaten...
No way!
More accurately, it was voluntary.
