Grandpa's and Arthur Baker's expressions stiffened, only Brianna Wood's smile seemed deliberately forced.
Although her tone was apologetic, there was no hint of remorse in her voice.
Instead, there was a schadenfreude smile.
Sofia Hamilton frowned, "Ms. Wood..."
"Please have a seat."
Grandpa interrupted her, seeming to know that she was on the verge of losing her temper and saying something.
Sofia had no choice but to suppress her displeasure and sit down forcibly.
Brianna Wood looked at Sofia with a meaningful gaze, scanning her from head to toe before saying with a smile, "I really like Miss Sofia, may I call you Sofia Hamilton? Do you mind telling me who your parents are? What does your father do? How old are you, and when is your birthday?"
She bombarded Sofia with a series of questions that left her unsure how to respond.
