Chapter Two
Arthur Baker held her tightly, how wonderful it would be if he could always hold her like this.
He would never lose her again...
Just then, Sofia Hamilton's phone rang again
This time, it was Grandpa calling.
"Sofia, are you awake?"
"I'm awake."
"Then come downstairs to the second floor, and have breakfast with Grandpa."
To her, Grandpa's voice was always kind and loving, but for Arthur Baker, it might always be harsh, especially in recent days, as Grandpa's attitude towards Arthur seemed to grow increasingly strict.
Ever since Grandpa's illness improved, he had hardly given him a good look.
Sofia wanted to ease the relationship between the two men...
She didn't understand what was going on with the grandfather and grandson, it was like a subordinate relationship; they only reported on some company situations every day, without a word about life's warm and cold.
