It was a feeling as if her heart had been hollowed out.
Although he won, Ryan, more than anything, wished she had rejected him.
That way, it might have shown that she didn't care so much about the man outside the door!
Yet, she dared to agree so rashly without even knowing what his request was.
Sofia Hamilton looked away, "I don't want to hurt him."
"So, you choose to hurt me instead?"
Ryan Gregory lifted the corners of his mouth in self-mockery.
Indeed, in her heart, Arthur Baker was still more important...
Whether he, Ryan Gregory, felt pain or got hurt didn't matter to her at all.
But what could he do? He simply couldn't let go of her.
Even if she harbored someone else in her heart now...
Ryan Gregory lifted the corners of his mouth in anguish and stood up, "I will fulfill your wish."
Saying so, he walked towards the balcony.
Sofia Hamilton made sure she couldn't see him before she went to open the door.
