Chapter Seven
She was using this thing for the first time.
She had heard that it was very powerful and could easily lead to accidents...
But, she hadn't thought about any of these issues just moments ago; her only thought had been to make him let go of her immediately.
Feeling his motionlessness, Sofia Hamilton was a bit scared.
She hurriedly pushed him away and climbed up, calling him, "Ryan Gregory?"
"Ryan Gregory, wake up."
Sofia called out, but he didn't respond at all.
Out of anxiety, she could only lean on his chest to listen for his heartbeat.
Listening to the regular heartbeat and after waiting for a while, she sensed nothing was wrong with him. She finally relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief, tossing the stun gun into the trash can.
This thing really wasn't easy to use, in case something had happened...
She didn't even dare to think about it...
Now he was lying in her space, unresponsive to her calls. Where was she supposed to sleep?
