She screamed and hid behind him, "A snake! There's a snake!"
Looking at the creature's grey-green body, Sofia Hamilton felt her skin crawl, and goosebumps sprung up all over her body. She completely forgot to keep her distance from him, clutching onto his shirt tightly.
He took a step, and she moved with him.
Ryan Gregory could tell at a glance that the snake was not venomous. In this tropical area, it was not unusual to see such small snakes in places with dense grass, but still, it was better to avoid getting bitten!
He put his arm around her shoulder and backed away, as the snake that lay across the pebble path also began to withdraw. He frowned, took out his phone, and made a call to Nathan Morgan, "Call the manager of this hotel over."
Such incidents should be avoided in a star-rated hotel.
Fortunately, he was there by her side...
