Farewell, yet no one cared.
Ryan Gregory felt like a flock of crows had flown over his head.
There was a sense of an awkward silence...
Never in his life had he been so ignored.
From childhood to adulthood, he had always been the center of attention, the star around which all others orbited.
Wherever he went, he would attract the attention of others, countless people wanting to ingratiate themselves with him and build connections!!
Never had he thought he would be ignored by his own child.
Was this retribution?
Ryan Gregory walked to the door, disappointed.
Suddenly...
"Uncle."
A childlike voice sounded from behind him.
So soft and tender it melted one's heart...
Ryan Gregory turned around and saw Lena standing behind him, looking at him with a bit of sympathy, "Take care on your way."
The little girl's warm words gave Ryan Gregory a feeling of warmth in his eyes.
