Just then, from the table behind her, came the sound of a vibrating phone.
It was Arthur Baker's phone.
Sofia Hamilton intended to pick it up and take it to him.
Unexpectedly, her hand pressed the answer button.
An anxious voice came from the other end, "Mr. Baker?"
"Mr. Baker, are you there?"
Sofia recognized the voice; it was his secretary.
There must be something urgent...
Sofia quickly responded, "This is Sofia Hamilton, please hold on, I'll get him for you."
"Miss Hamilton? It's even better that you can answer. Please help me persuade Mr. Baker to come back immediately. There's some trouble at the company. If he isn't there in person, the American shareholders will definitely be unsatisfied. The secretary's tone was very anxious, which surely meant she was facing a situation beyond her control.
