Sofia Hamilton found it hard to believe. She knew Regina Brown was somewhat arrogant and unreasonable, but she had never expected her to hire someone to kill her!
The very thought, the sensation of nearly dying, made the air around Sofia drop to freezing point, a chill rushing up from the soles of her feet…
Regina frowned, "What's this about New York?"
"Regina, stop pretending in front of me. Was it you who had me pushed into the river in New York!" Sofia accused angrily, telling her straight that it was this woman who wanted her dead.
Apart from Regina, perhaps no one else would wish for her death.
But Regina laughed, "Push you into the river? It seems you've offended quite a few people. Who exactly did you cross to make them come at you so fiercely?"
Despite her verbal defense, Sofia felt certain these events were related to Regina!
